Kate Moss: Roll 1 – 31 October 2013 | 3 November 2013 – Lawrence Alkin Gallery, London

Celebrating the 25th year since the photographs were first taken on October 26th 1988 and with the advent of Kate Moss’s 40th birthday in January, this exhibition, in collaboration alongside the photographer David Ross, will present the images together, as a collection, in one place for the first time ever.

Back in the Autumn of 1988 David Ross, working for the likes of Vogue, Arena and Saatchi & Saatchi, was asked by Sarah Doukas of the newly formed Storm model agency to shoot her model discoveries; one of these girls just happened to be Kate Moss.

Taken on her first ever photo-shoot at only 14 years of age, the exquisitely hand-produced photographs depict the supermodel as a fresh-faced ingénue on the cusp of the world domination she now holds within the fashion industry and virtually all media circles.
